A Little Background
I graduated with a degree in Audio Engineering from Madison Media Institute. Equipped with a passion for music and drive to weave my way into the industry I volunteered at Blackhawk Church and picked up gigs at local venues as an Audio Engineer. Eventually, I moved to Portland, Oregon where I split my time as an interim Technical Director for a church on Portland’s east side, and as an Audiovisual Technician for a local production company. I then landed an opportunity to work at Audix Microphones, one of the leading microphone manufacturers in the world. After spending time developing their service department and helping launch a new line of wireless microphones, my former employer offered me the Director of Audiovisual role within their production company. Finally, I moved back to the midwest where I was the Technical Director for a 160,000 square foot, multi-venue church. All along the way I have worked with numerous clients recording, editing, mixing, and mastering audio in my spare time.
I perform contract work with Hawk-Eye Innovations (a subsidiary of Sony) as a Project Specialist for their NFL contract. I am responsible for installing and managing their SMART (Synchronized Multi-Angle Replay Technology) and VAR (Virtual Assistant Referee) system at Lambeau Field for the Green Bay Packers. I also worked with Live X, a full-service production company based in New York City with clients such as the Democratic National Committee, Times Square New Year’s Eve, and Vox Media. I am currently Project Manager for a commercial photography and videography studio in Green Bay, WI.
